Layer it inside any JRB quilt or sleeping bag to add 10–15°F of warmth, or shake it out on its own as a fleece camping blanket when the full setup is more than you need. No backpacking price tag. What makes it different

Most fleece liners are an afterthought — mass-produced overseas and sized for generic sleeping bags. The Micro-Grid is cut to fit JRB quilts specifically, so it layers cleanly without bunching or shifting. The micro-grid pattern adds loft and softness without the bulk of heavier polar fleece, and at 17 oz it packs down small enough to toss in a day bag without a second thought. This Microgrid fleece quilt liner is wonderful. I received it in the winter so it doubled as a couch throw. In the hammock it performs well with a comfortable footbox and plenty of extra to tuck in the sides. Great to use when the temperature rises and the quilt is not needed. I'll be taking it out on every camping trip. Highly recommended.

I LOVE the Moroccan blue color. I haven't been able to test it out camping yet since I purchased it over the winter, but I've been enjoying it on the couch almost every night. It will mostly be a summer camping blanket for me. I'm hoping it's not a pain to pack.

This is a really unique little bonus. It's a nice touch inside your main top quilt to have a soft liner or by itself for those hot nights you still want some sort of cover. It's not the lightest thing, so not really UL, but not too heavy if you have some comfort-weight budgeted. Planning to try to make it a regular part of mine. It's nice inside the house for those of us tall enough to not be able to fit under your average blanket too.

I will warn that the "gray" is really pretty "purple". Not an issue for me, but it was unexpected.

Anybody who has ever tried using a traditional mummy style liner in a hammock knows what a pain it can be to get in & out of. At the time i never knew that there was a fleece liner made for top quilts. JRB solves this by making the liner with NO zipper & giving it the same shape & cut as a top quilt making for super easy exit & entry from the hammock!

In addition it adds warmth pair with your top quilt & as mentioned can be your summer top insulation

I enjoyed a great weekend in the White Mountains, hiking and snowshoeing. Plenty of snow and definitely cold temperatures. We started on Saturday morning at the AMC Highland Center with a temperature of -9. That night we slept in the bunkroom of the Zealand Falls Hut where the interior temperature at bedtime was 2 degrees. I used my Sniveler with quilt liner and ended up sleeping comfortably in my long johns, socks and hat. I am delighted with the performance of your products and appreciate your personal guidance when asked for. When I was packing up the next morning, other hikers in the hut could not believe that I was comfortable with that small of a quilt in those temperatures.
